Let me introduce myself: I'm Janet Davis, an artist and entrepreneur living and working on the North side of Bonavista Bay, on the island of Newfoundland in Eastern Canada. There are many challenges to running a business here in my small rural hometown, and there are many wonderful benefits too. I’m working on a couple of new designs today… Row Houses and Bakeapple.
Next month, I’ll be attending a wholesale trade show with the intent to sell my card, mini-print, and bookmark designs to retailers around the province.
I’m hoping that these new designs will turn out good enough to catch some attention, but at this stage, I never know what will happen… I might not like what I’ve got once a print is pulled. Fingers crossed!
