I first met Tara Bryan when I called her up and asked her if she’d come to Wesleyville to teach a painting course to me and some of my students. She said yes, much to my surprise, and we spent a few days getting to know each other around paints in the attic of my Norton’s Cove Studio. When it was time for her to go, we both had tears in our eyes, and a wonderful friendship had been formed. I’m so happy that I picked up the phone that day and asked a silly question of someone I’d never met!
