In the Studio

I am colouring & packaging new cards, minis, and bookmarks this week, for our own shop shelves as well as some orders coming in (including Christmas Cards!)

A few of my cards and mini-prints are printed in black ink and then coloured by hand using watercolour paints. I love this part of the job- I like to settle in with a big pile, listen to a podcast or two, and get them all done at once.

The Mystery of the Missing Printing Plate Update:
No sign of the saltbox printing plate anywhere! When my favourite cousin asked if I thought someone may have stolen it, I said, “don’t be rediculas”; but right now, I’m thinking it’s about the only explanation! Maybe someone put it in their pocket by accident? I know I’ve come home from the Café with a napkin in my purse before. I can’t be the only oblivious weirdo out there, can I? Anyway, the search continues! And in the meantime, I have to discontinue that image in the online shop, as I can no longer take orders for that particular design. I guess I’ll be making a new saltbox image!
