Let me introduce myself: I'm Janet Davis, an artist and entrepreneur living and working on the North side of Bonavista Bay, on the island of Newfoundland in Eastern Canada. There are many challenges to running a business here in my small rural hometown, and there are many wonderful benefits too. This blog is where I share some of those challenges and triumphs, and share what it's like to live in this part of the world.
First up, I’d like to thank everyone who came out to support our small business over the Easter Weekend events- you’re stars! We appreciate it very much! You might not realize it, but small businesses really do need to feel encouraged to keep going, and getting positive feedback from our customers makes our jobs as owners, kitchen magicians, & happy servers all worth-while. Thank you.
I’m taking reservations for Easter weekend at Norton’s Cove Café! We’ll be serving supper on Saturday evening, and Brunch on Sunday! You can contact me directly to make a reservation. We’ll be offering a shortened menu on Saturday, April 3rd, and our usual Brunch menu on Sunday, April 4th.
Today is the last day to take advantage of the sale on at Norton’s Cove Café’s Gift-Shop for eNewsletter subscribers! ☘ Discount code Shamrock gets you 30% off all products in the Norton’s Cove Café Collection, which includes pretty well everything on the walls and on shelves at the Café! The sale is on in the online shop only, and you can pick up your order in store instead of having it shipped. It’s the best deal available until September!
