This new tourism ad from the Government of Newfoundland & Labrador features a nearby attraction. The Barbour Living Heritage Village is in Newtown, Bonavista Bay, just ten minutes or less from my studio. My mom grew up in Newtown, and I spent lots of time there as a kid, at my grandparents’ house just over on the point past the historic Barbour houses. The video also shows other sites in my region, slightly farther afield.
