1967 Was a Good Year for Me

Bruce, Janet, & Ollie.  August 2014.
On this day in 1967, my parents tied the knot in Newtown, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland.
48 years of marriage later, they are still happy in love, and are a great source of inspiration for us all to live life full of love and laughter, spending lots of quality time with family and friends.
Happy anniversary mom & dad!

Printing All Week

Monday through to Friday, Ollie (my clean hands) and I have been printing bookmarks, cards, and mini-prints to restock the shelves here at Norton’s Cove Studio.
We’ve been working hard, and we’ve printed almost 600 pieces in red, red-yellow, orange, blue, blue-red, yellow, black, grey, blue-green, and green.
Now we just have get them packaged into the final product,
which will probably take another week!

Icebergs in June: Day Twenty

part of ‘Mother’s Day’ | 1996 Lithograph by Janet Davis

Iceberg count while I’m on the road today: squat

I’m in St. John’s today, delivering a couple of pieces to the Craft Council Gallery for their upcoming Annual Members’ Exhibit, and doing some running around for Davis Shipping too.  Then off to pick up some paintings from Tara Bryan who will be showing some fantastic work in the gallery at Wesleyville this summer.  Then back to Greenspond to pick up Jack from his puppy-sitters.  (Thank you L & R!)  A busy day.  Busy enough that we have to put my mom’s birthday celebrations on hold until tomorrow…

Happy Birthday!
